Job Summary

The Branch Support Center Intern will develop a solid understanding of the department they are in and the overall business. The internship aims to provide our Interns with challenging, real-world projects specific to their career path. They will work within their department on day-to-day projects including, but not limited to, activities related to process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Works within the department on day-to-day projects.
  • Builds relationships through meetings, events, and one-on-ones with various employee-owners and leaders.
  • Collaborates with various departments throughout the company.

Department Responsibilities

  • Works as part of the Creative Services team, writing and editing content for internal and external communications.
  • Utilizes AP Style writing and possesses strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ensures integrity of company brand by adhering to visual and verbal identity and guidelines.
  • Advocates and communicates in ways that emulate our Ownership Essentials and brand promise.

Non-essential Functions

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
  • Current student or new graduate (within last year) in a two or four-year degree program.
  • Strong knowledge of business office procedures, office equipment operation, data entry/keyboarding skills, and communication systems helpful.
  • Requires strong knowledge of PC for Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and OneNote).
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with strong reading comprehension abilities.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including being competent, accurate, responsive, and engaged.
  • Ability to work as a group or independently with minimal direction.
