ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Rental Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for the acceptance of all 3rd party equipment prior to entry into company operating areas and through to return to vendor. The preferred candidate will be required to understand the project work scope to prioritize rental equipment in accordance with the project schedule, be self-motivating, highly organized, have strong interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The position is responsible for validating contractor inspection programs meet ASN Cosntructors policies and best practices, participating in contractor equipment inspections, reviewing and accepting contractor inspection documentation, continued validation that equipment used in support of the project has been inspected, adhoc inspections to verify continued compliance with Company standards, support contractor training for use of company fuel dispensing equipment, maintain logs of inspected equipment, log equipment actively in use/staged/out of service, and other duties as required to support rental equipment use in Company operating areas.

  • Construction Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of rental equipment records and tracking of all rental equipment used within Company operating areas.
  • Ensure each piece of rental equipment has been obtained with the proper approvals
  • Coordinate delivery and acceptance of rental equipment onto site.
  • Review and accept contractor inspection documentation.
  • Perform ad hoc inspection to verify continued compliance with rental vendor and Company standards.
  • Track all new equipment rentals from delivery to return, inclusive of monthly working hours.
  • Report on all rental equipment in company operating areas
  • Ensure all rental equipment is returned to the vendor within agreed upon terms
  • Monitor equipment as related to project. Complete extension requests before agreement expiration if needed.
  • Perform ad hoc inspection to verify continued compliance with rental vendor and Company standards.
  • Develop and maintain equipment tracking and reporting tools.
Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Degree preferred.
  • Preference given to those with experience as/in a mechanic, fleet management, heavy duty equipment sales and delivery, or equipment operation.
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Ability to kneel, sit, or crawl under equipment to facilitate inspection.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather.
  • Must possess a valid Driver License

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • Noise levels in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
