The Opportunity

Ulteig is excited to announce we are seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer who will engage with Ulteig's civil teams to provide innovative design solutions to facilitate the development, design, and construction of transportation projects. This position will involve a combination of design and construction fieldwork. We are looking for candidates eager to expand their knowledge base and grow their careers. What You'll Do

• Perform construction observation duties on assigned projects.
• Maintain records, construction quantities, checklists, daily reports, and documentation for construction administration projects in accordance with municipality requirements.
• Coordinate on-site materials testing.
• Perform work within both office and field settings.
• Design, develop, implement, and analyze engineering systems.
• Under supervision, perform plan preparation that includes but is not limited to, typical sections, scope of work, details, grading plans, plan and profiles, erosion control plans, traffic control plans, and pavement marking.
• Develop plans and specifications that comply with preexisting state and municipality requirements.
• Demonstrate a wide degree of out-of-the-box thinking, creativity, and design ownership.

What We Expect from You

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is required.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Prior engineering internship experience preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $73,500
