Applicator - Driver

  
 

Lake Region Grain has an opportunity in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The incumbent’s primary duties from April through fall will be Applicator – Operations Driver. The incumbent will promote the proper use of crop protection products.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Application – with Floater and / or Rogator
• Spreading –  Fertilizer and spraying crop protection products
• Truck Driving
• Warehouse work to include: driving Bobcat, Mechanics, Maintenance
• Customer Service & Sales
• Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Competencies:
 

• Incumbent must have the ability to adapt, think and make decisions quickly.
• Incumbent must have a pleasant attitude, helpful, and customer focused.

 
Training provided:
 

• Crop protection product mixing
• Operation of application equipment

 
Basic Qualifications:
 

• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• CDL or ability to obtain. 
• Applicators license or ability to obtain. 

 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
 

• Farming background
• Application experience
• Chemical application education preferred
